| Anne O'Brien - Chair Professional Education at the University of Utah Anne’s professional experience centers on managing complex partner relationships and creating actionable plans for change. She currently holds the position of director of Professional Education at the University of Utah, where she also manages the Nonprofit Academy for Excellence. She achieved her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northeastern University, Boston, and completed her Masters in Public Administration at the University of Utah. She continues to take numerous professional education courses whenever possible and is an avid believer in continuing one’s education through personal and professional development. |

Gretchen Dietrich -Vice Chair Gretchen Dietrich is Executive Director of the Utah Museum of Fine Arts at the University of Utah. Before joining the UMFA, Gretchen was Executive Director of the Utah Museums Association, a non-profit, professional membership organization serving Utah’s museum community. Before moving to Utah, she was Director of Education at the Wadsworth Athenaeum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT. Additionally, she has held positions at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She holds an MA in art history from Temple University. |

Phyllis Hockett - Past Chair Phyllis Hockett is a veteran social sector consultant focusing on aligning organizational mission with strategic objectives. With over thirty years experience, Phyllis has worked for and consulted with over one hundred organizations, many for multiple years, while coaching and guiding them as they raised over $160 million, and worked through the many challenges and opportunities presented during the natural evolution of nonprofits – from founding to maturity, from financial insecurity to sustainability, from volunteer founders to engaged board and professional staff. Phyllis is a lifelong volunteer, most recently as vice-chair of Utah Food Bank Services, statewide board member of the Children’s Justice Centers, executive committee of the Nonprofit Academy for Excellence at the University of Utah, and advisory board member of University of Utah Continuing Education. Phyllis is a dedicated teacher, and teaches frequently on nonprofit issues including strategic planning, board development and fundraising at local and national conferences. She teaches regularly in the Academy for Nonprofit Excellence at the University of Utah where she launched the fundraising track. |

Richard Scoresby, CPA -Treasurer Richard is a senior tax manager of CBIZ MHM, LLC and provides tax and consulting services to many nonprofit clients. He has over fifteen years of accounting experience including over ten years of public accounting experience providing tax and accounting services to individuals, nonprofits and small and large companies. Richard regularly attends national nonprofit tax training in Washington D.C. He has also instructed at the national MHM Nonprofit Conference and in local seminars to nonprofit organizations. Richard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA) and is licensed to practice in the State of Utah. Brad Pederson - Secretary Brad's professional experience centers on developing program's and products to better serve clients and people. He currently works as a Senior Marketing Manager for American Express where he is responsible for developing online products and services. He also enjoys teaching and has taught several courses at the University of Phoenix. His passion for health and human services led him to work with several nonprofits including The Family Support Center and Odyssey House where he provided counseling services and helped develop programs. Brad graduated with a Bachelors of Art degree in Spanish and a Masters of Business Administration from Brigham Young University. Kai Wilson - Member at Large Kai Wilson is the Director of "and Justice for all", a non-profit devoted to increasing access to civil legal assistance for disadvantaged Utahns. "and Justice for all" is a joint effort of Utah's civil legal aid providers to develop resources, foster collaborative efforts that enhance cost-effectiveness and improve services, and create new service models to address the unmet legal needs of disadvantaged Utahns. "and Justice for all's" collaborative projects have served as models for joint efforts of nonprofit organizations throughout the country. A graduate of the University of Utah, Kai has been active in the non-profit sector for 23 years. He serves on several local committees and boards. |

Patricia A. Bair Pat Bair has supervised and run public schools, private schools, prison schools, nonprofit and for-profit organizations in Texas, California, Georgia, Virginia, New York, and Utah. Nancy Winemiller Basinger, Ph.D. Nancy has been working in and researching the nonprofit sector for 20 years. She joined the staff of the Lowell Bennion Community Service Center in July 2010 as the Assistant Director and Service-Learning Manager where she works to support both faculty and nonprofits in the community to build strong relationships of service and learning. She holds a Bachelor in Accounting and a Master of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management, both from Indiana University and a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. Her primary areas of nonprofit expertise are stakeholder management, financial management, advocacy, and measurement and evaluation. Nancy also teaches in the Masters of Public Administration nonprofit concentration and in the Nonprofit Academy for Excellence at the University of Utah and serves on the advisory board for the academy. |

Victoria Bernier, CPA Victoria has worked in the nonprofit sector in Utah for 17 years. During the past year, she partnered with Christine Arthur, CPA to start a local public accounting firm, Arthur & Associates, specializing in nonprofit auditing and accounting services. Concurrently and for the past four years she has been the CFO and Director of Administration for Discovery Gateway children’s museum. Prior to Discovery Gateway, she was a partner with The C.P.A. Network, a local public accounting firm, for four and a half years specializing in non-profit and governmental audits. Her early experience in the sector was as the financial manager for Planned Parenthood Association of Utah for eight years. Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science, Accounting and Executive Masters of Business Administration from the University of Utah. She has participated on panels of nonprofit financial experts for the University of Utah Nonprofit Academy of Excellence. When she is not working, she enjoys camping, hiking, snowshoeing and other outdoor adventures. |

Ginette Bott Ginette Bott is the Chief Marketing Officer at the Utah Food Bank. She joined Utah Food Bank's staff in 2010 following 23 years of management and marketing experience at Fidelity Investments, most recently in the capacity as Director of Public Affairs. While at Fidelity Investments she was instrumental in organizing the company's Salt Lake City Annual Food Drive since 1994 and, in 2008, they met the 2 million pound mark in cumulative food donations to Utah Food Bank. She holds B.S. degrees in Business Management and Marketing. Ginette's previous board experience has included Ballet West, Salt Lake Acting Company , Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity, Utah Heritage Foundation and Utah Food Bank. |

Diana S. George Diana George is vice president and manager of the Zions Bank Women's Financial Group, a specialty banking organization that helps women business clients and consumers succeed financially. Ms. George joined Zions Bank in December 2010 as a vice president and commercial relationship manager. She began her career in banking in 1995, previously working for Wells Fargo in various capacities, including business relationship manager and store manager, and at Brighton Bank. She holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a bachelor's degree from University of Phoenix. A resident of Centerville, Utah, Ms. George has been active in the community as a financial education volunteer, participating in Reality Town and Junior Achievement programs since 2003. She is also a member of the 2011 "Go Red" Executive Committee for the American Heart Association. |

Jen Levy Jen Levy has served as the Executive Director of the Association of Nature Center Administrators since May 2007. Prior to that she was the Executive Director of the Stokes Nature Center in Logan, Utah, for most of the nonprofit center's first ten years. She earned a B.S. in Wildlife Management in 1988 from the University of Maine and an M.S. in Recreation Resource Management in 1998 from Utah State University. Her professional training includes the Professional Residency in Environmental Education (August 1994-August 1995) at Teton Science Schools in Jackson, Wyoming, and the Fund Development for Nonprofit Organizations Certificate Program in 2005 at the University of Utah. Her professional experience includes all aspects of starting a nonprofit nature center including program development and implementation; hiring and training of staff and volunteers; board development; fund development including grant writing, membership recruitment, major gift solicitation, and special events; public relations and marketing; securing lease agreements and permits; financial management; facilities management; and strategic planning. Jen is active in her community and currently serves as treasurer of the Stokes Nature Center board, is a member of The Friends of Utah Conservation Corps board and was treasurer of the Rotary Club of Logan board from July 2008-June 2010. |

Shar Lewis SHAR LEWIS is the Executive Director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Before joining the Foundation, Lewis was the Executive Director of the Utah Commission on Volunteers. Lewis has also worked as the Community Affairs Director and Feature Reporter for ABC4/KTVX and as the Executive Producer and Host of the community affairs program, "Spotlight Utah" on CW30. She received a Utah Broadcasters Association Silver UBEE Award for "Best Volunteer Special" and a National Association of Broadcasters Classic Telly Award as Co-Producer of the American Cancer Society's "60 Years of Milestones" video. Shar has worked with nonprofit, charitable and community organizations for over 17 years holding management positions with the American Cancer Society, Children's Miracle Network and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Lewis has served on numerous boards and volunteer committees currently serving on the Governor's Homeland Security Advisory Committee. Lewis has run five half-marathons for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and other charitable causes and went to Kenya on a humanitarian service project with her oldest son. She received a Postgraduate Certification in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Utah and a Leadership and Management Certification from the Nonprofit Academy for Excellence. Lewis is the proud mother of three children who remind her daily that life is a gift and every moment is a treasure. |

Roland Radack Roland Radack currently serves as Vice President Community Relations at Deseret Management Corporation, where he has worked in various capacities since September, 1996. In connection with his current position, he also serves as Executive Director of the company's charitable giving foundation, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Foundation. Roland serves as audit committee chair for the Great Salt Lake Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He assists other community service organizations such as the United Way of Salt Lake and The Boys and Girls Club and is a member of the Donors' Forum, a group of businesses, foundations and individuals who assist charitable nonprofits striving to improve people's lives. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Radack received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, speaks German and Portuguese and enjoys gardening, photography, hiking, camping and being with his family. |

Diana Major Spencer Former Professor of English and Dean of Humanities at Snow College, Diana's quarter-century of board service began with election to the South Sanpete Board of Education in 1985, then to the Utah Humanities Council Board the following year. She has served on grant panels for the Arts Education, Community Outreach, and Governor's Awards programs for the Utah Arts Council, as well as two terms as Chair of Letters for the Utah Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters. On the receiving end, she has written and executed successful grants for community arts programs and public arts projects (including the celebrated 210' Sanpitch Dragon mosaic) in Gunnison, the southernmost hub of Sanpete County. In 2004, she established, with a partner, a 501(c)(3) organization in order to acquire and restore a 1912 Beaux Arts-style theatre in Gunnison, the Casino Star. A common goal for all of her service is to promote visibility among statewide funding sources for the vast, very rural areas of Utah. |
